I got a ‘certificate’ from the Po-lice for doing a bit of subway art. It was looking great til they came along and spoiled it. Bloody Council made me clean it off as well.
So much for the British being Art lovers
Did you manage to get a pic of any of the art?
No pics but I do have the original sketches in a folder thingie somewhere. I used to do quite a lot of Graffiti and even co-ran a group for delinquents and glue sniffers where we got permission to graff a wall 300ft long and 20ft tall. The wall was part of an old railway works and was on a cycle track so loads of people saw it. There was some really interesting and very good work. It was all kept very clean but a few knobwhackers started tagging crap all over it and so the Council changed their minds and stripped it.
Here’s some work from a total nutter on part of the wall. He died from an overdose on some crap or another. Full on mission to self destruct but had a wicked handle on the aerosols.
