I use Skype quite a lot to call Thailand etc. and until yesterday thought it was a good service.
We have it linked to our business PayPal account so it ‘auto-recharges’ when the account gets low.
After using Skype yesterday I saw that we were £30 down, so after a WTF I checked the calls list to see our account had been hacked and there were nearly 100 calls to Pakistan. It was then that I found out that Skype is the telephone Company with no telephone number.
I had to enter virtual chat with a retard who told me I wouldn’t be getting my money back. After getting kicked out of the ‘chat’ for using inappropriate language I did a web search and found out that this is a massive problem/scam. The more unlucky ones have had their Skype account hacked & then their password & email changed so they are effectively locked out & can’t stop the calls. There’s a lot of angry people now posting in the Skype forums (yes on the Skype website), and yet Skype still refuse to recognise the problem.
Remember – Skype will NOT give you your money back as they say it’s your fault, so beware.

I thought Skype were good until this happened, what a load of crap!
Blimey, that is shocking, I only do skype to skype….even so they need to sort it..
They can still hijack your account, then you’re liable for any fraud because its in your name. I suggest changing your password to something really complicated.
