I went into town on Saturday to get me fish supper and the day’s special was Basa. I’d never heard of it
and thought maybe it was a Cornish thing so I didn’t ask in case I was taken care of for evidently not being local. Turns out Basa is a Vietnamese fish from the Mekong delta?! Has anyone tried it?

Asda have been selling it for a while now.I have’nt tried it,to be honest I’m a bit of a fuss ass when it comes to fish.Dont laugh,I dont like my fish to be too ‘fishy’.I’ll have to try it sometime I suppose.

Reading up on it a bit it seems that it’s a mild flavour so looks like I’ll be it a crack too
