DARE 2/11 – THE MOST ANTICIPATED MMA EVENT EVER HELD IN THAILAND
DARE Championship is Thailand’s biggest Professional MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) organization, where
some of the best Thai and International Martial Artists meet to test their skills and compete to
become the DARE – Mixed Martial Arts Champion of Thailand.

Dare Fight Sports is putting on their highly anticipated second MMA show in Bangkok on the 24th of
September after the recent success of their inaugural event, that took place in June.
MMA in general is increasingly popular and there are schools all over Thailand where students are
studying all the various techniques of the world’s fastest growing sport, MMA.
In DARE the fights take place inside a cage, under the International “Unified Rules of Mixed Martial
Arts” (same as in the UFC) in which competitors can win by knockout, submission or referees/
judges decision.
Unlike Muay Thai an MMA fight can take place either standing up or on the ground and involves
elements of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu as well as stand up fighting. The sport has been hugely popular
in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK and events can attract crowds of up to 50,000 people and a
pay per view audience of millions.
